September 18 | 8:00 am
Stop by after drop off for a coffee and to meet other parents. All are welcome, bring a non-PTSA friend and introduce us!

Join us for lunch in the deco district after Primary Garden Day! Even if you can't garden, stop by for some good burgers.

What we were up to in August
The PTSA jumped in to the new school year with both feet! We tie-dyed t-shirts for Primary teachers, decorated 4th & 5th grade hallways for back to school, and met up for coffee twice!
We also kicked off our Testing Snack Program and made posters of support for each village. We had enough donations from families to give snacks to kinder and first for all four days of testing! That’s over 550 packages of cheese crackers and more than 550 packages of fruit snacks. Thank you to our ALA community for keeping these bright brains nourished and supported through MAP and I-Ready testing! Thank you for all the donations!

ALA Primary Campus
Help clean up the garden at the new campus! Any time you have is appreciated (and join the PTSA for lunch afterwards!)
Committee chair needed for ALA Tech
The PTSA is looking for a Tech parent to help us stay connected and support our teachers! Time commitment is small (whatever you can give).

Fundraising board member
We are sad to say our Fundraising board member has moved to NY - we miss you Debbie! PTSA needs a new leader who can spearhead fundraising for the year (no experience required, time commitment is whatever you can give).

Morning cafeteria monitor at Primary
Ongoing - sign up any school day to help the kiddos start their day at ALA Primary!
Sponsor snacks for a faculty meeting
Once a month - sign up to bring snacks for the teachers at ALA Primary so they can have a productive meeting!
Teacher support workday
Wednesdays - sign up to help teachers out at ALA Primary with admin tasks they may not have time for, like making copies, laminating, or assembling projects.
✨ Room parents needed at both campuses, Pre-k through 5th grade.
